We collect information when you give it to us directly or when it is publicly available.

What personal data we collect

We collect your name and your contact details. If you filled in the membership form online, we also collect your cartographic interests and how you heard of PHIMCOS. If you purchase our publications online, we do not collect any PayPal account details or credit card details. These items are processed by PayPal directly and they do not give us any details other than the amounts that have been paid.

How we use your personal data

We use your data to provide you with information about PHIMCOS’s activities and events, to keep your membership status current, and to know how to reach you. We do not sell nor provide your personal data to third parties unless required to by law.

How we keep your data safe and current

We commit to keeping your personal details safe and secure by ensuring that the appropriate technical controls are in place. The PHIMCOS web administrator is the sole person within PHIMCOS who has access to your data and will periodically check to see if your details continue to be up to date. Should you purchase PHIMCOS publications using PayPal, your credit card details, where some personal information may be available, will be collected by PayPal and PHIMCOS will not have access to that data.
